Deep clean vs. standard clean: which one do you need?
Published August 3, 2026

People often ask for a "cleaning" when what they really need is a deep clean, or the other way around. Knowing the difference saves money and gets the right result.
Standard clean
This is upkeep. It covers the surfaces you see and use every day: floors, bathrooms, kitchen counters, dusting, trash. It keeps a home that is already in good shape looking and feeling fresh. It is ideal on a recurring plan.
Deep clean
This is the reset. On top of everything in a standard clean, it reaches the built-up grime: inside the oven and fridge, behind and under furniture, baseboards, window tracks, tile and grout, and the spots that get missed for months.
Which do you need?
- New client or first visit in a while: start with a deep clean
- Moving in or out: deep clean
- Already on a regular schedule: standard clean keeps it easy
- After illness or a big event: deep clean
